Strategy[]

First Encounter[]

Tantra tends to attack multiple times in one turn so the player must be cautious about that, use Nina to lay down trap spells such as Fragball will help a lot doing around 100+ damage and the chance of stunning Tarntra as well. Along with being able to attack multiple times the player should carry some Wake Ups on them as Tantra tends to put the team asleep or confuses them.

At the beginning of the fight have Nina lay down a few Fragballs in one spot in from near Tantra, also have someone stand in or on the opposite side of the trap to try and lead Tantra into it. It's best to have three (maximum amount) traps laid down in one spot, this will cause Tantra to get multiple time and also waste his turns. Also don't be shy to heal, as Tantra can attack more than once in one turn the player should be weary of their teams over all health. The fight isn't very hard, Tantra's ability to confuse and put the team to sleep tends to drag out the fight longer.

Second Encounter[]

Tantra will have increased abilities and a different steal item depending on whether you defeated Geegagis, Deegon, or both, before him.

If you defeated both, he becomes very strong and can attack you without even having to move from his starting position. He will also counter your physical and shot attacks with Drain if you're close enough, which makes the fight incredibly more difficulty if you're not dealing him enough damage and puts a strain on your healing supplies. He'll also cast Earthquake, which is an incredibly strong spell.

Use Lins's Greetings combo'd with C'Mere! to safely steal items from him. Use Nina to cast Fragball and use Lin's C'Mere! or Ryu's Kick to draw him into the Fragball. If he's far enough, you can also take a risk and hope he moves into the Fragball as he tries to get near one of your characters. With 3 Fragballs, you give yourself a decent chance to Stun him and make him lose his turn. Lin's Take This! deals about the same amount of damage as Blow Up! and Let's Dance!, but costs 20 AP instead of 30. Ryu can use combos if he hasn't had Forcacion cast on him. Otherwise, use Thrust repeatedly or use any Power Boosts you have in your inventory to undo Forcacion's damage debuff and bypass it's defense buff on Tantra.
