Sanctuary (けっかい, Kekkai?, lit. "Boundary") is a recurring ability in Breath of Fire III and Breath of Fire IV.
Breath of Fire III[]
Sanctuary costs 5 AP to use. It can be learned from Yggdrasil after 2 levels.

Breath of Fire IV[]
Sanctuary costs 8 AP to use. The Abbess teaches it after encountering 85 different types of enemies. It is also available in Ryu's Kaiser (Breath of Fire IV) form and Fou-Lu's Tyrant form.
