Sa Ryong is a character within Breath of Fire IV.
Role in Breath of Fire IV[]
Sa Ryong the Sand Dragon is found in the desert by a small oasis. Sa Ryong claims to be the overseer of the world, saying that not one grain of sand moves without him knowing. When Ryu asks for Sa Ryong help he gives Ryu the skill Onslaught.
Finding Sa Ryong in the Desert[]
Sa Ryong can be found in the desert following the events at Chek and Abandoned Village. It is accessible after the party obtains their own sandflier in Shyde. Ryu and the others need to travel from Shyde to Shikk Region and leap across a big dune in the south to reach a secluded part of the desert. As they head to the Oasis in the center, they will find Sa Ryong.
Trivia[]
- In the English version of the game when you get the skill Onslaught it will say that Ryu gained the power of the Grass Dragon despite Sa Ryong being the Sand Dragon. Each dragon gives their power to Ryu so this is most likely an overlooked typo. If this is present in other versions of the game is uncomfirmed.
