Peridot is a character that appears in Breath of Fire 6. She is a travelling magician who comes to the player's aid after their hometown has been devastated by the Insidia Empire.

While on her way to see the People of the Writtings, Peridot passes through Dragnier and ends up saving the Hero from the Insidia Empire's invading forces.

Etymology

In real life, peridot is a gem quality form of olivine, a yellow-green mineral.
