Mukto is a location in the Zhinga Mountains region of the Western Continent in Breath of Fire IV. It serves as an exit to Fou-Lu's Tomb. It is also the place where Fou-Lu was summoned centuries ago with the western version of the Spell of Evocation. The spell failed and split the Endless being into two halves: Fou-Lu and Ryu.
Role in Breath of Fire IV[]
Origin of the Summoning.
Having ventured through Fou-Lu's Tomb, the party must travel through Mukto in order to reach Kwanso. Leaping over the gap, they continue deeper into the cliff, following a trail leading through a small cavern. Ershin uses her head, literally, in order to reveal a hidden passage that further leads into ruins.
At the end of the path, they reach a room with various stone statues inside as well as a protruding central pedestal which holds the fabled Dragon Tear. The pedestal's inscription reads that Fou-Lu, the god emperor who founded an entire empire, was summoned here centuries ago.
