Jade is a boss enemy that appears in the original Breath of Fire. He is encountered at Obelisk and is the game's penultimate boss.

Story

Zog's former top general received power from the goddess and now faces the party as the second-strongest boss in the game. After the party defeats him, he admits that the goddess warned him beforehand that he would lose his battle against the party.

Strategy

Jade is one of the most difficult bosses in the game. As such, use everything at your disposal and only the strongest fusions and transformations. Nina is essential for healing. Also, in case she runs out of AP, have Acorns and Cures ready to rejuvenate the party. Let Ryu, Karn, and Bleu do the damage, but be ready for a long battle. If available, summon Agni, but have several Cures ready to replenish your HP.
