Flare (パダム, Padamu?) also known as Spark is a single target, level one fire spell.

Flare costs 3 AP to use and is only learned by Bo and Bleu which both have already when they join your party. It deals 20 damage.
Breath of Fire II[]

Spark deals low fire damage to a single enemy and is learned by Nina and Sten that both know it when they join the party. It costs 4 AP to use.
Breath of Fire III[]
Flare deals low fire damage to a single enemy and is learned by Teepo and Garr that both know it when they join the party. It costs 2 AP to use. This spell can also be cast by using a Molotov item on the enemy. The weaker version of Flare called Burn is a Skill which costs 1 AP to use.
Breath of Fire IV[]
Flare deals low fire damage to a single target and is learned by Ursula who knows it when she joins. It costs 3 AP to use. It can be cast by using a Molotov. There are two variations of this spell: Burn which is weaker and is a Skill and Hwa which hits twice and can only be used by Ryu in his Aura or Wyvern dragon forms. Both variations cost 1 AP to use.
Breath of Fire: Dragon Quarter[]
