Faerie Drop

Faerie Drop (フェアリドロップ, Fearidoroppu^?) (alternatively spelled Fairy Drop) is a key Item item that appears in Breath of Fire IV and Breath of Fire: Dragon Quarter.

Upon defeating Fantam, Ryu obtains the Faerie Drop.

The Faerie Drop is a rare metal ore obtained from the Dream World where faeries live. It is used by the smith at Mt. Glom to craft the counterfeit King's Sword. As it is a Key Item it is not obtainable by other means other then progression through the game. Humorously, the dialogue when granted the item suggests that it is actually made of the faeries' feces.

Breath of Fire: Dragon Quarter

This item is given to the player if you talk any Faerie in town, so long as you don't have one in your inventory. As long as a room is clear of of enemies, this item will transport the player to their Colony, and has unlimited use.
