Enlighten (チャクラ, Chakura?, lit. "Chakra"), also known as Inspire (リーコウ, Riikou?), is recurring ability and status condition in the Breath of Fire series.
Breath of Fire III[]
Enlighten costs 2 AP to use. It is taught by the master Emitai after apprenticing under him for 6 levels. Enlighten will increase the user's intelligence by 50%. If it is used a second time, the user's intelligence will increase an additional 50% of its original value, for a total increase of 100%. The effects last until the end of the battle. It's effects can be combined with those of Meditation, resulting in an increase of up to 200%. However, Meditation's effects will only last until the affected individual takes an action.

Breath of Fire IV[]
Enlighten costs 2 AP to use. It increases a single target's Wisdom by 20%. It is only usable by Nina, who learns it at level 26. It cannot be learned from any enemies.
