Breath of Fire: Ryū no Tsurishi (lit. Breath of Fire: Dragon Fisherman) is a mobile game based on the fishing minigame from Breath of Fire IV. It was released in 2005 exclusively in Japan.
Gameplay[]
The player controls the Breath of Fire IV iteration of Ryu in a closed lakeside environment that contains 34 different species of fish, twenty different types of lures and six fishing rods. The player can obtain different fishing gear by trading in fish to a Manillo merchant. The game also contains a record keeping system, similar to Breath of Fire IV's which keeps track of the largest fish of each species that the player has caught.
