Bouncer is a boss enemy that appears in Breath of Fire II. It is encountered in WildCat Cafe and uses a palette-swapped version of the Dir.HR sprite.
Story[]
When Ryu and the party reach Wildcat Cafe, several Bouncers block the entrances into the rooms that the player is trying to reach. If the party complies with the rules of the cafe, such as removing weapons and armor, the Bouncers will let him pass. However, if the party refuses, they will have to fight their way through. The latter option can be beneficial as defeating the Bouncers allows the party to proceed into the next room while keeping their equipment in place for the eventual boss fight with Wildcat.
