The smith reforging the King's Sword.

Armor smithing is a system that becomes available in Breath of Fire IV after Ryu and the party have left Wyndia and set out to meet with the wind dragon P'ung Ryong. It can be accessed by returning to the smith in Mt. Glom and by talking to him once more. He will take three parts from seven different possible components and begins to craft a specific set of armor for Ershin.
